Kangen water is ionized alkaline water produced by an Enagic water ionizer, using electrolysis to filter and restructure tap water.
The K8 connects to your kitchen tap. Water is filtered through a double carbon antibacterial filter, then passed through an electrolysis chamber with 8 platinum-coated titanium plates, which ionizes it and enriches it with minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Instead of buying bottled or filtered water, the K8 produces water on demand at your sink — drinking-strength alkaline water, plus a range of other settings for cooking, cleaning produce, and skin care.
This is what separates Kangen water from a basic filter or alkaline bottled water — and it's backed by a real body of published research.
Electrolysis infuses the water with dissolved molecular hydrogen (H2), one of the most-studied small-molecule antioxidants, which some research suggests helps neutralize free radicals.
